We need your help...

Hey, we kind of have a drummer lined up.. we need a bassist. If you play bass and live in the Salem-Keizer, Oregon area and for some reason wanna play crappy songs I wrote in my bedroom, please hit us up. I have tabs I can give you and you can freestyle some sweet bass solos, just don't go to Flea on us. We're ill equipped. Anyways, all you need is a bass and an amp.

Also, if you're a venue owner or if your band is coming through town (or Portlan, Eugene, or anywhere in between) we are interested in playing! We have a few links below. Thanks a ton!

New 7"

Sometime in the beginning of next year, we're self releasing a 7" titled the snow falls in sheets. It's going to include two new songs we wrote in the autumn of this year (2016). We put a lot of work into these two songs and into the layout for this 7", so hopefully everyone digs it. The first song is titled "yeah, i know... i don't know" which is a paraphrased quote from Pretty Mouth and Green My Eyes by JD Salinger. The song is about finding comfort in adulthood and embracing it with someone you love. The second song is titled, "the snow falls in sheets" and it is about comforting someone you love. I guess both of these songs are about being in love and comforting the person you love.

We're releasing it on clear /30 lathe cut vinyl 7" records and if there's room in the center, we'll print out center labels and paste those on or draw a little picture in the center especially. We have it available for preorder here: ashalarock.bigcartel.com

The compact discs are hand made, hand stamped on eco friendly cardboard. It includes a bunch of inserts (lyrics, info, HPR promos, etc.) From now until January 17th, w'ere donating 75% of total sales to a random foundation for minorities, women, and lgbtqa+.

Hey, everybody! I added a detailed discography page to this site, which you can find here or you can go by our "pages" gadget and click the discography link. Also, our new record comes out this Friday (Nov. 4th) Go preorder it here! We're making cassette tapes that should be out in December. They're pink splatter on clear / 10 and if those sell out solid pink /10. You can preorder tapes here. The link for tapes leads you to our big cartel which is our main online merch store. We have shirts, tapes, and posters up there! We're also going to make /25 DIY cds for our new full length around mid November. We've been really tight on funds recently, so that's why I don't have physical mediums ready for the regular release date of the full length; sorry about that!


Besides all of that promotion stuff, I thought I'd write out a little posting schedule for this site. Basically, I'm going to try to post news every few days, and I'll keep updating pages, I'm going to work on a lyric page, and brainstorm ideas for some other pages. Maybe I'll write out guitar tabs for our new album and put them up here. That's kind of neat, right? Anyways, check back for that! Thanks for reading!

Welcome to our blogspot! This is pretty much going to be our "website" for news, and everything. It will also be a more direct way to contact us without going through facebook or bandcamp.
